Dr. Vasilios Kontopoulos M.D., PhD is a U.S. trained and Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology, who has served as an Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology in S.U.N.Y (State University of New York). Dr. Kontopoulos has vast experience in microsurgery and minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy). He was a founder of Hellenic Society of Endometriosis and has been the director of the Assisted reproduction unit of IASO Maternity Hospital, Athens, for 19 years since 1996.
