At the same time, it has also been designed with mentor workload in mind and thus it takes prior mentor training into account so that all training is purposeful and is a manageable commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the DfE 2025 guidance, new mentors are able to claim for up to 16 hours of training and those who mentored during 2024-2025, up to 6 hours of refresher training.
